(NPO ICDA )

We are helping caregivers grow into professionals who can thrive anywhere in the world.
Our Mission

We cultivate internationally capable care professionals who support Japan’s aging society and extend that expertise across Asia’s aging communities.
Our mission is to create an environment where learning opportunities are not limited by economic background, enabling young people from overseas to develop professional caregiving skills and Japanese language proficiency in Japan, and to grow into certified care workers. Through education, on-the-job training, and comprehensive life support, we promote long-term retention and career development, nurturing core human resources for Japan’s caregiving sector.
Furthermore, we aim to circulate this experience and network throughout Asia, delivering high-quality care givers to aging societies across the region.

Support for Acquiring Japan’s National Care Worker Certification
We offer end-to-end support, from enrollment in Japanese language schools to successful completion of Japan’s National Care Worker Certification.
Scholarship Support for Students
To ensure that motivated and capable young people are not denied opportunities due to financial circumstances, we provide support for tuition and initial living expenses. We encourage and empower their studies at Japanese language schools and their pursuit of national professional qualifications.

Career Development and Comprehensive Life Support
Taking both Japan and Asia into perspective, we provide personalized career planning support. In addition, we offer continuous assistance with housing, healthcare access, and administrative procedures to ensure stable living conditions in Japan.

Supporting the Future of Care — One Person at a Time
Japan’s elder care sector is experiencing a serious and growing shortage of caregivers.
International care workers are essential, yet many struggle and leave their jobs early because of language barriers, cultural differences, and difficulties adjusting to daily life in Japan.
At the International Caregiver Development Association (ICDA), we believe that success means more than just arriving in Japan.
It means helping each person build a stable life, grow as a professional caregiver, and become part of the local community.
That is why we provide continuous support at every stage:
-
Personalized career guidance
-
Daily life support and regular consultations
-
Coordination with care facilities to ensure a safe and supportive working environment
Since 2017, our representative has guided many international students and workers to become certified care professionals who are now contributing to elder care across Japan.
Why Your Support Matters
Your donation directly supports people who leave their home countries to pursue a meaningful caregiving career in Japan.
It helps them:
-
Access education and training
-
Settle safely into life in Japan
-
Overcome cultural and language challenges
-
Stay motivated and continue their caregiving journey
A single donation can change the life of one caregiver — and the many elders they support.
Together, we can build a future where international caregivers thrive, and elder care in Japan remains strong and compassionate.
